The NFT craze is continuing and many companies continue to get into this unique project. Adidas is one of the many examples of companies that got to make millions simply from selling NFTs. In fact, a recent report states that the company sold more than 22 million in NFTS.
They created 29620 NFTs in partnership with the Bored Ape Yacht Club and GMoney as well as Punks Comics. Each one of the NFTs was sold at the price of 0.2 ETG, so around $765 per piece at the time of this writing.
What makes this interesting is the fact that the company also gives the NFT owners access to special goods like a tracksuit worn by the Bored Ape and hoodies, among others. That being said, the physical merch for the NFT customers will arrive in 2022. What this means is that NFT owners basically preordered their exclusive clothes, more or less. On top of that, 20k of the NFTs were actually offered to those persons that had GMoney, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Pixel Vault, Bored Ape Yacht Club and Adidas Original tokens.
Do you want to create your own NFT art or NFT collection like Adidas NFT’s? – Whether if you are a professional artist or not, it really doesn’t matter!. You can now easily create your own NFT by hiring a professional NFT artist from Fiverr.com. Check out the cool Gigs below.
They basically made the NFTs very hard to get, which is definitely quite the challenge to consider. As soon as early access started, Adidas entered an issue because the Mutant Ape Yacht Club owners were unable to mint any of the NFTs. Some were reimbursed for the lost gas fees. Then the early access resumed a few hours later. It’s stated that most NFTs were minted minutes right after the public sale began.
The idea to offer NFTs is definitely lucrative for Adidas and its partners, since it managed to generate millions. It’s nice to see how much commitment Adidas has to enter new markets and integrating new technologies. And in this case it’s great to see just how well it all managed to sell. We don’t really know if Adidas is going to offer any NFTs in the future. However, they did state that this is only the beginning. We can only assume they do want to bring more.

Considering just how fast the first batch of NFTs sold out, we can only imagine that Adidas will continue reaping on the success and that alone might end up making a huge difference. We can expect other companies to try and integrate NFTs into their offerings.
For example, the STALKER 2 developers stated they will integrate NFTs into the game, but they ended up getting a lot of backlash from fans. So yes, depending on the situation, it’s safe to say that some people will be excited about the addition of NFTs, yet other audiences will not be ok.
That being said, it’s hard to say who will deliver NFTs in the near future, but we do know that NIKE has acquired a company who specializes in creating NFTs. Which means we will most likely seem Adidas and NIKE bringing new NFTs to the market sometime in 2022 or later.
